Since the branch was formed in 1987 Cr. Osraí has been actively promoting the ideals of Comhaltas through our weekly music and dance classes, workshops, monthly sessions, summer entertainment shows, twice yearly concerts, and involvement with Culture Night entertainment, St. Patrick’s Day festival, and Heritage Week events. As well as participation in charity events and performances locally there has also been participation in International Folk and Celtic Festivals abroad and overseas tours with our entertainment groups. Through the years the branch has hosted Comhaltas concert tours, County Fleadhanna, Leinster and All-Ireland Ceol an Gheimhridh and Leinster Fleadh Cheoil. Our members have participated at Fleadhanna Cheoil, Ceol and Gheimhridh , Scoraiocht and Plearacha na nóg competitions at all levels with great success.
